I'm literally shaking reading this. My sister bought "Ozempic" from someone on Instagram three weeks ago. She's not diabetic, she's using it for weight loss. If those pens contain random amounts of insulin she could have a serious hypoglycemic episode.
I'm calling her right now. This is terrifying.

please have her stop immediately and see a doctor. If she experiences any symptoms of hypoglycemia (shakiness, sweating, confusion, rapid heartbeat, extreme hunger), she needs to eat something with sugar and call 911 immediately.
I don't say this to scare you but to make sure she takes it seriously. The insulin-containing counterfeits are the most dangerous scenario.

This is why I keep saying — if you can't afford brand name GLP-1s through a pharmacy, go the compounding route from a VERIFIED, TESTED compounding pharmacy. Yes it costs more than sketchy Facebook deals but you know what costs even more? An ER visit because you injected god-knows-what.
The "deals" on social media are NEVER real Ozempic at those prices. Novo Nordisk's supply chain is tightly controlled. If someone's selling pens for $300, they're either stolen, counterfeit, or both.

I compiled a photo comparison album of confirmed real vs. fake Ozempic pens from FDA and WHO reports. Posting the Imgur link here for reference (mods please approve):
Key visual differences:
1. Font weight on "Ozempic" brand name — fakes use slightly bolder font
2. Color saturation on the green/teal label — fakes are more blue-shifted
3. Needle threading — genuine NovoFine needles have a very specific thread pattern
4. Expiry date printing — genuine uses dot-matrix style, fakes use laser print
Save these for reference. Share with anyone you know who buys online.

Great compilation. I want to add one more critical point:
Even if a pen passes all visual checks, that doesn't guarantee it's genuine. The counterfeits are getting better and better. The only way to be 100% sure is to purchase from a licensed, verified pharmacy.
I'll continue monitoring and will update this thread if I see new counterfeit variants come through. Stay safe everyone. This is serious.
