Heads up everyone — QSC has increased their prices as of March 1, 2026. Here are the changes:
Semaglutide 5mg:
- Old price: $18/vial
- New price: $21/vial
- Increase: $3 (16.7%)
Tirzepatide 10mg:
- Old price: $28/vial
- New price: $32/vial
- Increase: $4 (14.3%)
Retatrutide 5mg:
- Old price: $35/vial
- New price: $40/vial
- Increase: $5 (14.3%)
Shipping:
- US warehouse: Still free over $200
- China direct: Still free over $300
Tracy mentioned in an email that the increases are due to rising raw material costs and increased testing/QC expenses. Whether that's the full story, who knows, but prices do go up everywhere.
My take: $21/vial for independently verified semaglutide is still an absolute steal. Let's put this in perspective...

OK let me do the math because I think people need context before they panic:
Monthly cost of semaglutide at 1mg/week (maintenance dose):
| Source | Monthly Cost | Annual Cost |
|--------|-------------|-------------|
| Brand Ozempic (no insurance) | $1,000-1,350 | $12,000-16,200 |
| Brand Ozempic (avg copay) | $300-500 | $3,600-6,000 |
| Compounding pharmacy | $100-300 | $1,200-3,600 |
| GGPeps | ~$33 | ~$400 |
| WWB | ~$28 | ~$340 |
| QSC (new price) | ~$25 | ~$305 |
| QSC (old price) | ~$22 | ~$260 |
QSC with the new pricing is STILL:
- 96-98% cheaper than brand Ozempic
- 75-92% cheaper than compounding pharmacies
- Cheaper than GGPeps and comparable to WWB
A $3/vial increase is less than the cost of a cup of coffee. If this price increase makes or breaks your budget, I'd argue you have bigger financial concerns than peptide pricing.

I mean... I'm not thrilled about it. 16.7% is a significant percentage increase even if the absolute dollars are small. And once companies start raising prices, they tend to keep doing it.
$18/vial was a huge selling point for QSC. At $21 they're starting to close the gap with WWB ($23ish). If they go to $25 in another year, the price advantage over competitors disappears.
Not saying I'm switching vendors over $3, just expressing concern about the trend.

Dr.SportsMedIN Your concern is valid but I think there are market forces that will keep prices in check:
1. Competition: QSC, WWB, and GGPeps compete with each other. If QSC raises prices too much, customers switch to WWB or GGPeps. This creates a ceiling.
2. Chinese market: There are dozens of Chinese peptide manufacturers. If all three verified vendors raise prices too much, new competitors will enter at lower prices and go through the community verification process.
3. Raw materials: Fmoc-protected amino acids (the building blocks for peptide synthesis) HAVE increased in price. This isn't just QSC padding margins — it's industry-wide.
4. Scale: The GLP-1 research peptide market has grown enormously. Higher volume should partially offset material cost increases.
My prediction: prices will stabilize in the $20-25/vial range for semaglutide and $30-40 for tirzepatide. We won't see significant further increases unless there's a major supply disruption.

I'm actually placing my first QSC order this week and saw the new prices. Honestly? $21/vial didn't give me any pause. I was prepared to pay way more based on my research into compounding pharmacies ($150-300/month).
$21 for a 5mg vial of tested, verified semaglutide is absurdly cheap. I think long-time users might have price anchoring bias from the old $18 price. For someone coming in fresh, $21 is incredible value.
